Terms of Use

These terms cover Wubee for iPhone and iPad and the web player at wubee.app, made by FRANCESCO BERTOCCI, LLC (“we”). By using them you agree to these terms.

The service

Wubee is free to download and play, with no ads. Every daily challenge and every game with a friend (online or on one device, in any size) is free. The optional Wubee Plus adds solo play on the 4×4×4 and 5×5×5 cubes in all three games, every Word Cube practice board, and Cube Pop Zen. The web player is free.

Wubee Plus purchases and subscriptions

• Plans: Wubee Plus Monthly (auto-renewing, 1 month), Wubee Plus Yearly (auto-renewing, 1 year, with a 1-week free trial for new subscribers), and Wubee Plus Lifetime (a one-time purchase that never renews). Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.
• Payment: charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
• Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Managing and cancelling: in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Plus stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
• Free trial: any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Restoring: use Restore Purchases in Settings or on the Plus screen on any device signed in to the same Apple Account.

Purchases are also governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement.

License

The iOS app is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms. If they conflict, Apple’s agreement applies to the app.

Your content

You choose your display name and colour, and you make the moves, words and quick messages in your games. You’re responsible for the name you choose and how you play with others.

Acceptable use

• Don’t use offensive, hateful, sexual or impersonating display names.
• Don’t harass other players, or use game links to reach people who don’t want to play with you.
• Don’t try to interfere with other people’s games, the game database or the service.

To report a player, use Report player in a game’s menu or email [email protected]. We may remove game records or names that break these rules.

Game links are shareable

Anyone who has a game’s link can open that game and see the names and moves in it, and the first person to join becomes your opponent. Only share links with people you want to play with. Once shared, a link can’t be un-shared, but you can end the game at any time.

iCloud

Games with friends and syncing between your devices use Apple’s iCloud and require being signed in to iCloud (or Sign in with Apple on the web). We don’t control iCloud and aren’t responsible for its availability.

No warranty

Wubee is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, FRANCESCO BERTOCCI, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of Wubee, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Wubee in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here with a new date; continuing to use Wubee means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
